the thai health promotion foundation office (thaihealth) is an autonomous state agency. we are seeking the new generation who are motivated to work towards creating a society of wellbeing. the 3 job vacancies available (under the partnership and international relations section) are as follows:
as thaihealth and thailand were selected to host the world conference on health promotion 2013, thaihealth requires qualified candidates for the following 2 job positions:
1. coordinator for the 21st world conference on health promotion 2013
basic function of position:
plan work operations, coordinate work, manage various available resources, supervise and follow up on 3 areas of the world conference on health promotion 2013, including: 1) academics, 2) management, 3) communications and public relations.
qualifications required:
  1. bachelor’s degree or higher in related areas.
  2. very good english skills (listening, conversation, reading, writing).
  3. at least 2 years of experience in managing medium to large scale projects.
  4. at least 2 years of experience in coordinating work between various sectors personnel, agencies, and organizations in various sectors both domestic and international.
2. secretary general for academic affairs for the 21st world conference on health promotion 2013
basic function of position:
work as the coordinator to support the global scientific committee of the world conference comprised of academics worldwide. the incumbent shall collect and report information on the progress made in the preparations of the conference, as well as the overall results of the conference, to the global scientific committee.
qualifications required:
  1. bachelor’s level degree or higher in ralated fields.
  2. fluent english language skills (listening, conversation, reading, writing).
  3. possess at least 1 year of experience in academic work related to health issues and/or international development, with the ability to conduct research, analyze problems, and communicate research findings efficiently.
as thaihealth was selected to chair the international network of health promotion foundations (inhpf), thaihealth requires qualified candidates for the following 1 job position:
3. assistant to the secretary general of the international network of health promotion foundations (inhpf)
basic function of position:
function to assist the secretary general in both administrative and technical analytical tasks, as well as work with inhpf members in achieving the goals of the network.
qualifications required:
  1. bachelor’s level degree or higher in related fields.
  2. fluent english language skills (listening, conversation, reading, writing).
  3. at least 1 years of experience in coordinating work between various sectors and agencies,preferrably internationally.
  4. possess the ability to research, analyze and summarize.
